I had the privilege of  photographing a great couple in Ashland Kentucky this Memorial Day Weekend.  So much fun to work with and they were really receptive to all the ideas and poses I threw out to them.  Guys, I hope you enjoy your pictures just as much as I enjoyed taking them.  I can’t wait to shoot your wedding and get some more AMAZING shots.  Here are some sneak peaks that I have ready for you now.  Yes, I know I’m teasing you by putting up only a couple of pictures but I promise when I get back to Elkins I’ll finish the rest.

Spring LOVE is in the AIR!

Although I’m a little late with the Spring post since we’ve had record breaking temperatures the last couple of weeks and now I had to break out the little electric heater again to keep warm.  But Spring love is still very much in the air.  My reservations for weddings and engagements are quickly filling up.  I’ve already had 2 inquiries this weekend and already 3 confirmed for later in the summer.    Along with other events its going to be a busy rest of the year.  Some upcoming events that I’m very proud and excited to be shooting: Miss WV USA Pageant and band shots for Shaffer Band.

Big delimma!!

If you’re keeping up with college basketball then you would know that on your brackets its down to the Kentucky Wildcats and West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday.  Those of you who know me well, know that I was born and raised in Kentucky where you literally bleed BLUE!!  Well, since I’ve been in WV for the past 2 years I’ve gotten a little gold in my blood too.  The two teams that I both love are playing each other.  How can I watch and cheer for both teams?

I’ve already gotten several threatening phone calls from my customers that knew I grew up in Kentucky.  I’ve been told that if KY wins on Saturday I wouldn’t be getting anymore of their business.  I told them that at least it wasn’t Marshall they were playing.  Either way of the outcome of the game on Saturday, I’m proud of both teams for making it as far as they did and I wish both teams the best of luck.

Hello everyone,

Today is an exciting day for me for a couple of reasons.  If you’ve been to my site before then you’ve already noticed that I have a brand spankin’ new look.  Also, the fact that you are reading my very first blog post.  I still have a lot of tweaking to do on my site and I have a ton more pictures to upload.  But, I love it already and hope that you do too.  This is just the beginning of what’s to come.  Please check back regularly to see what’s new.  Thanks, and have a great day!
